As close friends of Cara and her family, we are asking for support as she recovers at UCSF following a sudden brain aneurysm and emergency surgeries. Cara is incredibly strong, and she continues to fight through each day with the support of her loved ones and medical team by her side. Anyone who knows Cara, knows she is always the first person to show up for others and give to anyone in need. Now it’s our turn to give back to her.

While the procedures were successful, she remains under close monitoring in critical care at UCSF as doctors continue watching for complications and guiding her recovery. At this time, there is still uncertainty surrounding the full extent of her condition and what recovery will look like, but we remain hopeful and grateful for every positive step forward. Cara has a long road of healing and rehabilitation ahead.

We are raising funds to help ease the burden of medical expenses, travel, lost income, and ongoing recovery needs so her family can focus fully on being by her side.
