Cara was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on May 22nd, 2022. At the advice of the doctors and the hospital we set up this account to help cover the medical bills for her aggressive treatment plan. At this point we are not entirely sure of the amount needed and will update our goal number as we understand those cost better. In the off chance that we collect more than what is needed to cover medical and related expenses we will donate the remaining to a related non-profit (not determined which non-profit yet, when we do we will update it here).  

Appreciate anyone who ends up here and reads our story, thoughts and prayers for Cara's recovery are very much appreciate and anything you can do to help us alleviate the financial stress on Cara and Kevin as they focus on Cara's treatment mean so much to our family!
