Support Captain's Recovery After Hit & Run

hi, captain is my 1 year old bernese who was involved in a hit & run 11/08/2024 around 8:20PM. this truck did not stop and in a panic, captain ran away. we searched for him for 7hours but because me & my boyfriend have a 2 year old son we had to eventually turn in. captain showed back up at 8AM, i set an alarm for every hour to check outside for him. while he has no external injuries we can see, we do not know if he is internally hurt and we can’t afford it unless we have help due to falling into hard times financially..

this has really put me and my boyfriend in a low place because not even care credit will approve us but when it comes to our animals we’re willing to do whatever for them, even beg. we love our captain so much, we just want to make sure he’s not hurting inside where we can’t see.

we are grateful for any help given, im so angry that somebody so heartless didn’t even bother to stop, they didn’t even hit their brakes either, they just kept going.
