As most of you know, Our Father, Captain Peter J Cabral sadly passed away on May 13th. I am putting together a Celebration of life at the end of McMillan Pier on September 8th, we ask people to be at the dock by 9:30 AM. & we will throw the lines by 10 sharp... We will spread his ashes out of a small handmade wicker Viking ship that we will set a blaze off Wood End with our fishing fleet of boats & one of the Dolphin fleet boats (that they have been so graciously to offer so that we can accommodate everyone.) as this has been the hardest time of my entire life. The bond my father and I had was stronger than a hurricane. And I need all of your help.. The biggest expense is renting a tent & it's a lot more than I thought.. for this will be his final send-off.. his final party. As broken as I am right now, I hope through the summer months we have to grieve this astronomical loss. by September I hope to be able to not be so broken but to CELEBRATE EVERYTHING HE WAS. ❤️⚓ His kind and loving heart, always there to help a friend or fellow fisherman, Open his doors to someone that needed a place to stay. To feed the ones who were hungry. Or to be a father figure to the ones who did not have one. And the most loving, understanding, hard working, supportive DAD and Puppa to his kids grandchildren. It's hard for me to come on here and ask for help. (I'm a lot like him) But we need your help ❤️ our dad was always there for so many people in our community. Even the smallest donation is greatly appreciated. And I want to say thank you to our community and the ones who have already helped me put this together . (you know who you are ❤️⚓) I can never thank you enough.. this will be his final time "throwing the lines" and we will "set em out" for his last Tow... And then we will Honor & Celebrate his life at the end of the Pier with music and good food.. and I invite ALL OUR FAMILY & FRIENDS to come! I want to hear all your Peter stories..
