My name is Jack Borden and I am organizing this GoFundMe in collaboration with Ashland Firefighters Local 1269 on behalf of Ashland Fire and Rescue Captain Daniel Caples. Daniel has been a dedicated member of AF&R for the last 8 years, selflessly dedicating his time to answer the call for medical emergencies, rescues, and wildfires across Oregon. Daniel and his family were struck with a diagnosis of Stage 3 cancer earlier this year and he has since then been heavily involved in treatment and testing to defeat this cancer. This fundraiser is being made to help Daniel and his family continue to thrive in this time of struggle due to illness and time away from work.
