Help Captain Bob Fishel's Battle with Brain Tumor
Donation protected
I don’t know Captain Bob Fishel but I know of him. Father of 5, devoted husband and United States Army Captain active duty and devout follower of the Lord.
As I look back on life I reflect on the challenges I’ve faced, the sleepless nights I’ve had and the fear and anxiety I’ve held over what seems to be insignificant when we understand what life is really all about.
Last week Bob was hospitalized with what they believed to be a mild stroke. It turned out to be a very aggressive tumor growing inside Bob’s brain which will require immediate treatment and ongoing therapy.
We lose sight of what really matters, we, at times, lose sight at just how much the men and women of this country give and have given to this country. Bob has given of himself without hesitation.
I have seen first hand what type of people our military is made of, from very close friends of mine to my own son who currently serves. They are fiber of our country that holds us together.
Bob is this fiber. I am writing this because out of the countless battles Bob has faced, he now faces another, and this is an opportunity for us to contribute back to Bob for all he’s given. Please contribute money, contribute prayers and contribute hope for Bob and his family. Leave stories of success so that he too can see a path forward in his fight. As a healthcare community member, I know his fight is tough but there is a path forward. Let’s help him find it.
After Bob’s diagnosis, his first thought was towards his family. Bob has missed many birthdays, holiday’s and family events in service of our country. Bob and his family would like to go to Disney, to some this may seem trivial. To Bob and his family it will be a trip of a life time. We are asking for those of you that can contribute plz do whatever you find reasonable. Thank you for your consideration.
