My name is Caprice Hammon, and I am reaching out to you during an incredibly difficult time for my family. On October 23rd, my oldest brother, Jason White, the cornerstone of our family, passed away unexpectedly due to a tragic accident.

Jason was not just my brother; he was a father figure for me and was a loving uncle to his nieces, Charlie and Remi. He was a devoted son to our mother, Kim Dixon and his father Larry White. A big brother to Nathan White, and a caring husband to Michelle Vu. His unwavering support and love have been a constant source of strength in all our lives. The grief that my family, especially my girls, is experiencing is unimaginable and deeply painful.

I am reaching out to my community and beyond for help during this difficult time. I had to travel immediately to North Carolina to be with my mother and remaining brother. We then came to Chicago to support Jason's widow. I have been away from my children, small business, and clients for over a week. I will absolutely need some time off to process and grieve. As a self-employed individual, this absence and unexpected spending will result in significant lost wages and debt. I find myself in urgent need of financial support.

I have lost my best friend, my brother and the light of my life. Any assistance you could provide would be immensely appreciated.
