Capital Ballet is a DC-based, female-led non-profit with a vision for reimagining the lifelong connection to ballet alongside family, education, and career pursuits. The company is a community of professionals in a range of fields who strive to create, maintain, and grow a new space to pursue excellence in both ballet and their career of choice.

Management and leadership of the company are undertaken by the dancers themselves. The collaborative environment enables dancers to choose how best to contribute their time and skills to the full range of behind-the-scenes efforts needed to support the company each season. Fundraising is critical to company operations.
