Hello I am Nahla, 15 years old, born from Cape Verdean parents and raised in the Netherlands, but my heart especially today is in Cape Verde. Last night the streets have been flooded, lightning struck the ground, people have passed away and familys have lost relatives. So I want to help Cape Verde because right now, many families are suffering. Their homes have been flooded, their plates are left empty, and these last hours are filled with pain and sadness. In moments like these, we must remember nos orgulho “our pride” and nos morabeza — “our warmth and kindness”.
Cape Verde is more than just beautiful islands ,it’s the people, the welcoming hearts and the spirit that never gives up. Together, we can bring hope, food, and shelter back to those who have lost so much. Every small act of kindness can help a family, nos gents na Cabo Verde, stand again, stronger than before.
Let’s be the hand that lifts them up. Let’s show the true heart of our orgulho, nos Cabo Verde.

2. With the help of a doctor, medical supplies will be shared in São Vicente.
3.We’re also trying to team up with local restaurants to cook food for different neighborhoods.
4.And the rest of the money will go to an orphanage in Cape Verde.
