Coming in as Wisconsin Presidents Cup champions, the boys fought through a grueling regional tournament in St. Louis with scores of 1-1, 1-0, 1-1, and 1-0—advancing thanks to a last-second equalizer in their opener and a dramatic game-winner in the final minute of overtime in the semifinals. They gave everything they had in the championship match—pushing through injuries and exhaustion, with no subs left by the end of the game. Though they ultimately fell 3-1, their grit and determination carried them all the way to the final and earned them a well-deserved spot at Nationals as Regional Finalists.
