Support Cano's Battle Against Cancer

Hi everyone,

My name is Daniel, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit.

My beloved cat Cano—my COVID baby, my shadow, my best friend—was recently diagnosed with nasal lymphoma, a form of cancer. He’s only 5 years old, still full of energy, and has so much love left to give. Without treatment, the vets gave him just three months—but with the right care, he has a real chance at a long, happy life.

Right now, Cano still plays, eats, purrs, and cuddles like nothing’s wrong. But cancer is quiet and cruel. To fight it, we’ve started making plans for chemotherapy and ongoing care. It’s a tough journey ahead—physically, emotionally, and financially.

I’m doing everything I can to keep Cano comfortable and give him the best possible shot at recovery. That’s why I’m asking for your help—not just to cover the initial treatment, but to be ready for any curveballs this journey might throw our way.

Hola a todos,

Me llamo Daniel y les escribo con el corazón pesado pero con el espíritu lleno de esperanza. 

 Mi querido gato Cano—mi bebé de pandemia, mi sombra, mi mejor amigo—fue diagnosticado recientemente con linfoma nasal, un tipo de cáncer. Solo tiene 5 años, sigue lleno de energía y aún tiene mucho amor por dar. Sin tratamiento, los veterinarios le dieron solo tres meses de vida… pero con el cuidado adecuado, tiene una verdadera oportunidad de vivir una vida larga y feliz.

Por ahora, Cano sigue jugando, comiendo, ronroneando y acurrucándose como si nada pasara. Pero el cáncer es silencioso y cruel. Para enfrentarlo, ya hemos comenzado a planificar su quimioterapia y el cuidado continuo que necesitará. Es un camino difícil—físicamente, emocionalmente y también económicamente. 

Estoy haciendo todo lo posible para mantener a Cano cómodo y darle la mejor oportunidad de recuperación. Por eso estoy pidiendo su ayuda—no solo para cubrir los tratamientos iniciales, sino para estar preparado ante cualquier sorpresa que pueda surgir en este proceso.
