I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to share the story of my dear friends Canny and Yee. On March 14, their lives were forever changed when a devastating fire swept through their apartment in Arcadia, CA, and endangered the life of their cat, German. Thankfully, fire responders were able to rescue German, but not without burns and inflamed eyes.

Despite the valiant efforts of the fire responders, Canny and Yee lost not just their home and possessions, but their security and peace of mind. They are kind and loving souls who see the best in others, and it's heart-wrenching to see them struggle through this disaster and scramble to rebuild their lives.
