My name is Chanel, and I never thought I’d be in this position, but I’m asking for help to save my cat Cannoli’s leg and his future.

Cannoli recently suffered a severe femur (thigh bone) fracture and was rushed to the emergency vet. After X-rays and evaluation, the veterinary team confirmed that the injury requires urgent orthopedic surgery. Without surgery, Cannoli could face chronic pain, mobility issues, or even the loss of his leg.

The recommended treatment is surgical repair of the femur using pins and/or plates so the bone can heal properly. Due to the complexity of the fracture and the need for a specialist, the estimated cost of Cannoli’s care is $12,000. This total includes emergency treatment, pain management, surgery, hospitalization, and follow up care.

The good news is that with proper surgical treatment, Cannoli has an excellent prognosis and a strong chance at a full recovery and a normal, happy life with all four legs. We are doing everything possible to give him that opportunity.
