Hi, I'm Candi.

I am almost 60 and had a stroke in September and I have applied for disability. It can take up to 8 months to get benefits. I'm already getting behind on bills, credit card, car payment, rent, etc. I'm really afraid I will lose my car soon, then I won't have a way to get to all my appointments.

I'm a good person. I've worked hard all my life, raised my two grown sons by myself. I never really made a lot of money doing laundry in a care center. I've always lived paycheck to paycheck. My sons help me out some but can't afford my bills along with theirs.

In my dreams, I'd like to have an angel to help take away all my worries. With a wave of her wing, bills are paid and I'm not losing my mind. It's hard not to get depressed with worry, but I know there are great people out there with compassion and empathy.

I'm sure there are hundreds of people like me that need temporary help. I would be very grateful for any amount of help you can give. When I'm back on my feet, I will look for other GoFundMe's to help out.
