My mom, Candis Howard, was recently in a terrible accident that changed everything for our family. She fractured an important bone in her neck and broke her elbow so badly that she needed surgery. On top of that, her car was totaled in the accident. The doctors have told us that she won’t be able to move on her own or return to work for at least 3 to 6 months. This has made it incredibly difficult for her to keep up with bills and take care of my younger siblings, who are just 14 and 9 years old.

The funds raised here will go directly toward helping my mom with her medical bills, daily living expenses, and personal bills like rent. They’ll also help us make sure her kids are fed, get to and from school, and have what they need while she recovers. We’ll use some of the money for medications and anything else that can help her heal faster and more comfortably.
