My name is Candice Kimmer and the reason that I’m making this GoFundMe is to ask for some type of help in any way possible.

Last year in May of 2025, I got really sick. It was hard to swallow, and I kept getting choked up by nothing most of the time. Then I lost my voice almost completely, and multiple doctors tried to treat it as “normal allergies.” I was on different rounds of steroids and antibiotics. After about a week, I was finally able to get in to see my primary doctor, and as she was examining me, she immediately called for another doctor to come into the room because she had seen a white lump on the inside of my throat. I was then referred to see an Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist.

After many back and forth, here and there with different doctor's appointments, I finally got a biopsy done on Oct 23, 2025. A week went by, and I finally got answers—not the ones we were praying for, but we got answers. On October 29, 2025, I was diagnosed with stage 1 throat cancer (the same cancer that my father had). Doctors recommended radiation treatments with a total of 35 treatments, 5 days a week for 7 weeks, over surgery to help get all the cancer. But unfortunately, the plans changed, and now they want to do surgery as soon as possible. I have surgery on January 22, 2025.

I'm asking for any help with donations towards my hospital bills and my after-surgery supplies that I’ll need for when I’m released. Anything will help in my families time of need. Thank you all in advance and keep me in your thoughts and prayers.
