Support Candice and Nick Through Health and Financial Crisis

On April 22nd, the love of my life was admitted to the hospital resulting in an emergency surgery to remove his appendix. As if that wasn’t hard enough, the stress and worry of this all has resulted in both of us becoming ill with a long-term viral respiratory infection that will result in 3 weeks of missed wages.

I have applied for short-term disability to help make up for lost living expenses, but they have DENIED my claim for paid leave due to illness. This has left us with nothing to live off of. The amount we’re asking includes rent, utilities, car payments, food, gas, and medical expenses and medications along with other monthly debts.

Life is extremely difficult in today’s economy in general, and very unforgiving when families face emergencies such as these, and there is no government aid here in Texas. To anyone and everyone who is willing to help keep us afloat and keep us from facing eviction, we cannot thank you enough.
