Support Cancer Treatment for Doris Ringer

We are writing with a heartfelt request to help support Doris; our sister, a wife, a mom, an aunt and a wonderful caring friend.
For those of you who know Doris you know she has been battling the cancer fight since she was six! That is 42 years of her life fighting (sorry sis for disclosing your real age). To say that Doris is a fighter is an understatement; she is a true warrior. With each setback, she gets back up to fight again.
In August of 2019 Doris was diagnosed with liver cancer. Due to many complications from the radiation treatment for childhood cancer, her only option was liver transplant. After countless tests, she made the transplant list. We were so happy that she was a candidate! Then the unthinkable happened. A follow up scan showed that the liver cancer was in her lungs. Doris was no longer eligible for a transplant. We are devastated but hopeful. The oncologist has started her on daily medication to attack the cancer.
Here is where we need your generosity and help. Her oncologist has recommended sending her biopsy sample to the U.S. for genome testing. This will accurately determine the genetic makeup (DNA) of the cancer and will allow the oncologist to select the best treatment for her cancer. This is not covered and Doris and Jeff need to pay for this themselves. The cost is 7500.00
Doris is married to her best friend and her tireless supporter; Jeff! Together they have a beautiful daughter Ali; along with their fur babies Daisy, Charlie and Rosie. Let’s show them our love and support. Any donation is appreciated and every kind word is cherished.
