Support Canaan's Family and Livelihood

Hi all! Our dear friend Canaan has ended up in a situation that she could really use some help getting out of. Her van that was purchased only one year ago (and the only vehicle between her and her partner that fits their family of six) needs a whole new transmission. This vehicle is not only how she gets her family around but is also a large part of how she makes an income since she uses it to Uber drive on the side.

Without getting into the private details of her medical life, she is physically only able to work part time up on her feet as a restaurant manager. Uber driving is a way that she can still make enough money to support her family of six without being too taxing on her body.

That being said we are trying to help her in anyway we can to one, get the car repaired and two, get her through the next few months with a little extra income since she is unable to do half of her job as an Uber driver to make ends meet.
