Support Cam’s Recovery from Flood

Hello all, my name is Sara Kinley. Kelly Gravley is one of my best friends. I am starting this GoFundMe for her son, Cam Gravley. Cam is a student at Appalachian State University in Boone. Western North Carolina was hit by Hurricane Helene that has caused catastrophic flooding, mudslides, and washed out major roads.

Cam lived on a first-floor apartment and was woken up to flood water entering his apartment. By the grace of God, there were people in the apartment above him that were able to help rescue him. He is back home safe with his family, but all of his personal possessions are gone. He is most devastated about the things he cannot replace. This was the water level outside his apartment at his blue SUV.

Cam is the most kind-hearted person I have ever met. His mom has always been the one there to help others, whether it be mission trips, family emergencies, or for someone in her “village,” she is always there, no questions asked. Now is our time to come together and be there for these amazing people!!

Cam is an artist on canvas and on the stage. As far as we know, everything in his apartment will be a total loss. He did have renter's insurance but unfortunately it does not cover flood damage.
