Hi, my name is Carla Davis. On November 28, at approximately 11:30-12:00, which was Thanksgiving, my son, whose name is Cameron Cain, known as Cam, was inside with his older siblings while I walked to the store to finish preparing Thanksgiving dinner for my kids. My baby boy, Cam, is autistic. He unlocked the door and got away while my son was tending to the other siblings. Before you know it, he ran across the highway, not knowing any better because he's autistic. Cam was hit by a vehicle and later transferred by EMS, being seriously injured with a skull fracture to his left eye, collarbone fracture, along with minor scars. He resided in Our Lady Of The Lake Children's Hospital for 3 days before being discharged.

As a single mother doing everything on my own with no transportation, living paycheck to paycheck, trying to keep a roof over my kids' heads while trying to work and make ends meet, I'm stepping out on faith asking for the public's help with any donations. Anything would help at this time, even taking a moment to pray for him as he recovers. Anything would help to get to and from doctor's appointments, take care of medical expenses, all while being out of work, which puts a financial hold on everything due to me being out of work to take care of him.
