Support for Camryne
Our friend and co-worker, Camryne Jon O'Brien, has recently received devastating news. At only 31 years old, Camryne has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of small cell cancer, turning his world upside down in an instant. He recently had a chemotherapy port implanted and is preparing to begin an intensive treatment schedule of one week on and one week off chemotherapy. Because of the aggressive nature of his cancer, his doctors have chosen an equally aggressive treatment approach in hopes of giving him the best possible chance to fight this disease. As Camryne focuses on treatment and recovery, he is unable to work, creating significant financial stress on top of the physical and emotional challenges he and his loved ones are already facing.
Camryne is more than a co-worker and friend. He is someone deeply cared for by the people around him, and at 31, he has so much life ahead of him. He should be focused on making memories and planning for the future, not facing the urgency of a cancer battle. Scott is asking friends, family, coworkers, and anyone moved by Camryne's story to come together in support. Donations will help with medical expenses, daily living costs, and transportation to treatments, while also easing the burden on Camryne and his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. If donating is not possible, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Camryne in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for standing with Camryne and showing him that he does not have to face this fight alone.
