Support Campbell Family

The love and support for Matt and his family has been overwhelming. We would like to give friends and others touched by his journey the opportunity to donate financially to the family. This fund will be used by T.J. as she handles everyday living costs and may also cover construction to the house, preparing for new baby, and uncovered medical expenses. 


This is the short story and what lies ahead:

After days of shortness of breath, Matt was admitted to Cypress North Houston on April 9th for blood clots in his lungs.  His condition turned for the worst and he was placed on life support and ECMO. He was eventually transferred to Methodist TMC on April 18th with a poor prognosis. While trying to overcome the stress of the blood clots on his lungs and heart, Matt had a massive stroke. Doctors were not optimistic of his outcome, but with constant prayers from family and friends, his wife, T.J., who never gave up hope, and the excellent team at Methodist he has made remarkable strides in his recovery. After a few set backs including a major surgery for an infected artery in his leg, he was able to transfer to TIRR on June 6. At TIRR, he has several hours a day of therapy, including speech, physical, occupational, and music. He has been able to spend some quality time with his daughter and has been out of the facility for an outing to a museum. 

Matt will be heading to Mentis Neurorecovery soon for more intensive therapy.  He has to be ready to welcome baby girl #2 in October. 

Thank you for your continued prayers! Matt is a miracle right before our eyes. God is good and he is not done using Matt as his servant here on Earth.
