On May 29, 2026, our dear friends Cammie and Michelle experienced a devastating tragedy when a massive fire engulfed a neighboring home on Carpenter Street in Providence. The neighboring house ultimately collapsed during the blaze, creating a terrifying and chaotic situation for everyone nearby.

While Cammie and Michelle's home was spared from catastrophic fire damage, the fire did spread to parts of their property, and the immense effort required to battle the inferno left their home with extensive water damage. Many of their belongings have been damaged or destroyed, and they now face the difficult task of relocating, cleaning up, and rebuilding their lives.

We are grateful that Cammie and Michelle made it out safely, along with their beloved cat, Brutus. While no one was physically injured, the emotional and financial toll of this disaster is significant.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help cover immediate moving expenses, replace essential belongings that were ruined, and provide support as they navigate the long recovery process ahead.
