Camille Rodriguez/Cammie/Twiggy is the daughter of one of my oldest friends, Malinda Kester (also known as Duchess Malinda von Kester in the Society for Creative Anachronism). Only 33 years old with two young children, she has struggled with chronic back pain for seven years. She originally had a spinal cord stimulator implanted in June of 2024, and it worked until it didn't. She had unsuccessful surgery last December to correct one lead, and is now facing another surgery, scheduled for March 6, to try to get it working properly again.

Unfortunately she received this notice from the hospital:

How many of us would be able to come up with $6000 with a week's notice? She's working with the hospital to arrange a payment plan, but this awesome family (shout-out to her husband David for standing beside her through this) could use our help. Please donate if you can, and share!
