Help Us Restore Power and Peace to Our Home
Hello friends, family, and kind strangers,
I’m reaching out today with a humble heart and a hand that I never thought I’d have to extend. Many of you know me as a hardworking single mom and a small business owner. I’ve always prided myself on my independence, but this year has been an immense struggle. My business, which is usually my lifeline, has been very slow, and I’ve fallen into a hole I can’t climb out of alone.
The most critical issue is that the electricity in our home has been shut off. This isn't just an inconvenience; it's a crisis.
My daughter and I are living in a dark house, cooking on a grill just to eat. We’re surviving on grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, and lunch meat, buying ice every other day just to keep a little food from spoiling—an expense that adds up quickly.
But the most frightening part is my health. I am diabetic, and my medicine needs to be refrigerated. Because we have no power, I haven't been able to keep my insulin at home. I haven't taken my life-saving medication in three weeks.
I have always paid my rent on time—it’s a point of pride for me—and I will not be homeless. But the truth is, I am one paycheck away from that reality. I am now in a position where I have to pay back the wonderful people who have tried to help me, and on my current income, I don't know how I can.
I’m not just asking for a hand-out; I’m asking for a hand up.
I have a small business, and when it’s good, it’s good. If you or anyone you know needs my services, please reach out. That is the best kind of help. For anyone who is able to donate, I would be honored to offer you credit toward a future product from my business as a thank you for your belief in us.
We are believing for a breakthrough. The Bible says, "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." - Galatians 6:2
Right now, our burden feels very heavy. Any help you can give—whether it’s a donation, sharing this post, or keeping my business in mind—would mean the world to my daughter and me. Thank you for your love, your prayers, and your support.
With so much gratitude,
Camille
P.S. All funds raised will go directly to:
1. Reconnecting our electricity (the top priority).
2. Paying back the kind souls who have helped us.
3. Catching up on bills and allowing me to get my diabetic medicine back home where it belongs.
