My name is Camille Jarvis, and I’m a graduate student at Midwestern University studying Speech-Language Pathology. I want to share something I’ve been holding onto.

I have to opportunity to participate in an international educational experience where graduate SLP students complete their advanced placement while providing speech and language services to children and families in underserved communities. Therapy Abroad’s Belize Program would give me the chance to work directly with clients, collaborate with professionals in the field, and gain hands-on clinical and cultural experience that will shape the kind of clinician I become. It’s a huge step in my training and something I’m truly excited to be part of.

Because this is an educational trip, the cost includes program fees, travel, housing, training, and materials. As a full-time student, covering all of this on my own is a challenge, so I’m beginning to fundraise to help make this opportunity possible. Any donation — big or small — would truly mean the world and help me move one step closer to this experience.
