Thank you for donating to our cause. In a short summary, we are raising funds to help us pay to return to our home country. Here is the story!

We (Camila, and Bernardo) came to study college as International Student to the US almost 9 years ago. Camila ended up with a Bachelor and Masters in Theater at The University of Southern Mississippi.

I ended up with a Bachelor in Music from USM, a Masters in Music Pedagogy from UNIR (Universidad de la Rioja), and a Masters in Jazz Performance from Texas State University. After that we worked for 1 year (the only allowed time to work as international students). Camila worked as a middle school theater teacher in the Lake Travis area and I worked as a freelance musician all over the central Texas area. You might have heard of me while playing at Six Flags San Antonio, Gloria’s Austin and San Antonio, The Oasis at Lake Travis, and many other places. Now that our work period ended we are headed back to Ecuador . Relocating is not cheap, despite we are selling most of our stuff, we still need to pay a lot of other things. Plane tickets, bags, paperwork, etc. To top all this (and the main reason I decided to create this fund) we already sent 3 bags to Ecuador full of stuff that we were going to be needing in our new life. Unfortunately, my dad who was transporting all the bags, got robbed and we lost 2 of our 3 bags. We had a lot of new and personal stuff, which is non replaceable. We are saddened by this but we need to keep going forward. That is why we are reaching out and gathering funds to help us on this life changing transition. We appreciate your help, anything helps.
