This is my son, Cameron, he was hit in the car vs motorcycle wreck on 41st and Main on April 28th. Cameron is a safe rider who took his endorsement class and practiced countless hours riding in parking lots to be familiar with the road and his bike. He always wore full gear and a helmet, good thing for that. It saved his skin, literally. He took all the right steps but yet tragic accidents DO happen!
Cameron has a brain bleed, broken clavicle, shattered knee cap and bruise lungs. He's heavily sedated as they try to manage his pain. Brain injuries are unpredictable and we don't know how much this will impact his future.
Cameron has wanted to be an electrician since he was 12, now 21 he is about to graduate LCC's Construction degree and is aiming to get an electrical apprenticeship.
He loves family time and most outdoor activies. He hunts, fishes, camps, hikes, works on cars, and LOVES his gym time.
Many of you know him from his infectious smile ❤️ He graduated Thurston 2023. And works locally. He's a goofy, fun, respectful young man and he's hurting right now.
Cameron is strong physically and mentally, but he has a long way to go. They are monitoring his brain bleed; he just came out of surgery for his shattered kneecap, his clavicle is broken, along with his front teeth being knocked out.
He will likey endure more surgery and have to have extensive dental repair.
My son is a young man working part-time to better his future. He took all precautions while riding and his riding gear absolutely saved his skin. Just some knee scrapes as far as that goes. That being said, this is a HUGE setback and we still don't know what's to come. He's still on the ventilator and we just need as much love, prayers, and support as possible.
Please be kind and help my son get back on his feet. Every donation will go to his medical bills and continued care. Thank you in advance. We will continue to update on his progress.
