Our football family needs your support.

During our 2nd home game against Berwyn, with less than a minute left on the clock, our teammate Cameron was giving it his all. While running the ball down the field, he was tackled near the sideline. Unfortunately, during the play, an opposing player landed on his leg, resulting in a broken femur.

This has been a difficult and emotional time for everyone involved — our team, our coaches, and especially Cameron and his family. Football is more than just a sport to us; it's a community.

Our head coach, Dom, and team mom, Robin, have been part of Elk Grove Youth Football League (EGFYL) for years. Their family embodies what it means to be Elk Grove Eagles — showing up, giving back, and building a positive environment for our kids. Now, they need us to rally around them.

Cameron has already undergone surgery and is now on the road to recovery as the doctors monitor his progress. This journey will require a lot of time, care, and support. Coach Dom and Robin will need to be by Cameron’s side as much as possible, which will bring extra challenges and financial strain.

We’re asking for your help to ease this burden. Your donation will go directly toward supporting Cameron’s recovery — including medical expenses, travel to and from the hospital, and anything else this family needs during this difficult time.
