Hi everyone!! I am making this GoFundMe to help some of my dearest, sweetest friends whose whole world got turned upside down recently. If you know Cory, Echo & their children, then you know they are some of the KINDEST, giving & genuine people. They are always the FIRST to offer anyone in need a helping hand.

Their son Cameron had been having some vague symptoms (nausea, weight loss, etc.) that initially were suspected to be stress, but after receiving critical lab results, he was urgently taken to the hospital and underwent a kidney biopsy which confirmed he was in total kidney failure <5% due to an autoimmune kidney disorder called IgA nephropathy. Cam was started on dialysis and family was told he wouldn't have made it more than a couple of days - if that.

At just 23, Cameron should be able to enjoy starting his life as a newlywed & new homeowner, not worrying about missing work, dialysis, or finding a transplant. But Cameron is resilient and embracing this new diagnosis with such grace & the most positive attitude!

This family would never ask anyone for help, though they are always the FIRST to offer it. I just wanted to try to help ease their worries while trying to navigate work, dialysis, finding a transplant, and give back to such a wonderful family who is always so eager to love and support those around them!
