Support Cameron's Battle Against Rare Sarcoma
Donation protected
Our family is navigating an incredibly challenging time, and we wanted to reach out to our community for support. Recently, my nephew Cameron received life-altering news after finding a lump on his hip. He has been diagnosed with CIC DUX4, an extremely rare and aggressive form of sarcoma with only a few hundred documented cases worldwide. To compound this, imaging has revealed a couple of spots on his lungs, though we are grateful that there are no other tumors present and his bone marrow and lymph nodes remain unaffected.
On November 13th, Cameron bravely embarked on his chemotherapy journey. Doctors have informed his parents, Ross and Kristina, that the road ahead will be long and grueling, with chemotherapy expected to last 8-9 months, followed by radiation and potentially more surgeries. Each chemotherapy session will require a round trip of over two hours, and these trips will need to be made for several consecutive days.
Despite the daunting challenges, Cameron has shown an unwavering spirit and resilience that has inspired everyone around him. His strength is a beacon of hope, reminding us all to stay strong for him. As his family rallies around him with love and determination, we are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for prayers, encouragement, and any support you can offer.
Funds raised will be used to help cover medical expenses, the cost of traveling to and from treatment, and other treatment-related expenses that will quickly add up. Your kindness, thoughts, and prayers mean more to us than words can convey. Thank you for standing by Cameron and our family as we face this battle together. We are eternally grateful for your love and support.
