My 7 East family at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and I are asking for support for our beautiful and loved Cameron. Cam was diagnosed with Left multi-centric triple positive breast cancer with Mets to bone in April of 2024. She began treatment immediately in May after undergoing IVF treatment. Cam has completed 5/6 of her chemotherapy treatments all while working full time as a registered nurse at the same cancer hospital she is being treated at . Cam is one of the most compassionate , loving and supportive people I have ever known in her professional and personal life . She is easy spirited and has been beyond positive throughout this whole journey . I have seen her come into work to care for patients that are in the same situation as her , while she is run down , and not feeling well but still has the brightest smile on her face. We are hoping to relieve some stress from Cam as she is still on a long road of recovery , she has her last round of chemo this week , a bilateral mastectomy scheduled in October followed by multiple fractions of radiation. Cameron will be out of work for 10-12 weeks at the very least after surgery. Our hope is that we can support Cam financially, if you are able to, and if not a prayer sending positive vibes would be so greatly appreciated. Please help me show the love and compassion to Cameron that she shows our patients , her friends and family everyday. Cam you are so beautiful, so strong and so loved!❤️
