Hello! We are just a couple of young student filmmakers looking to showcase our talent, explore new challenges and make a short film we are passionate about!
The short film is about a park ranger that doesn't quite fit in with her colleagues, and in her loneliness she forms a beautiful romantic connection with a squirrel. It is quite a hilarious and unique script written and directed by Cameron J. Schulz, who has a plethora of experience, not only in film directing, but with a wide variety of on-set positions in the filmmaking world.
We have a lot of goals we'd like to reach for this film. We plan to create this film by the book, which means securing permits, traveling, purchasing insurance and providing catering to our cast and crew. These are just a few examples of the many expenses of making a film. With your help, we are confident that we can successfully make the best film that we possibly can, as well as provide a great learning experience for our class, who will be crewing on the project. With our goal of $3,500 being achieved, we can afford not to cut any corners and make this movie an awesome and whimsical time.
Once we finish up our silly little movie, we plan to submit it to a wide variety of film festivals. Which will greatly benefit our class, providing opportunities to showcase the outstanding work that we are capable of, hopefully leading to our crew to network with active workers in the film industry.
Each and every person who contributes to this campaign will receive a special thank you in the credits of the film!
