"A life is not judged by the final chapter in the story."
Camden Duinink was deeply loved for 19 years. He passed away on November 15th.
Camden graduated from Pella Community High School in 2020 and was a member of the Third Reformed Church. He enjoyed participating in youth group and mission trips. Camden’s first love was baseball. He also enjoyed basketball, fishing and photography. Camden was especially close to his twin sister Courtney – they had a bond that could never be broken. He had a passion for helping others and seeing more than just the surface. Camden had a big heart and was a very deep thinker.
Unfortunately, Camden also suffered from depression. He struggled with this awful illness until it was too much to bear. Camden lost his battle, by taking his life.
All those who love him are heartbroken, in shock, and asking why. Comfort can be found in knowing that Camden's faith and relationship with the Lord was strong. He is no longer suffering inside. While we cannot understand, we can trust God is in control.
Camden is the son of Sarah & Randy Hileman and Jesse Duinink, of Pella. This Go Fund Me account has been created by friends of Camden's family to help cover unexpected expenses related to Camden's passing. The family has $14,000 in funeral expenses. His life insurance policy is not paying out because it was only in place for 10 months prior to his death, instead of the mandatory 12 months.
Thank you for supporting and loving this family as they are facing their worst days.
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
