Hi — we’re Kayla and friends asking for help for Calvin, our 12½‑year‑old dog. On 04/18/2026 Calvin was treated at South Shores Hospital for a stomach blockage that required surgery. The bill came to about $2,500, and we’re struggling to cover it. On top of that, Calvin has a herniated disc that causes him a lot of pain. We found this out too late to manage at home, and we’re heartbroken thinking we might have to consider euthanasia if we can’t afford further care and pain management. We’re raising $3,000 to cover the surgery bill, pain medication, follow-up care, and any remaining vet expenses. Any extra will go straight to Calvin’s ongoing pain relief and quality-of-life needs. Calvin is a sweet, loving dog who’s been part of Kayla’s life for years. We want to give him every chance to feel comfortable and happy in his remaining time.
