I’m Melissa and I’m humbly asking for whatever help you can give. My friend Ruth’s son and (basically family) Calvin, now just 18, was born with a cleft lip and palate. He has had 3 major surgeries and is now ready for his 4th.

This will be his biggest surgery yet, which requires that both jaws be broken. The out of pocket costs alone are astronomical. Without the surgery he will likely lose all teeth. He still requires 2 surgeries after this to close his palate, fix his lip and collapsing nose. I realize that these are hard times for everyone. We appreciate anything that you’re able to contribute.
