Hi Everyone,

My name is Calvin Walker. On June 18, 2024, I underwent open heart surgery for an aortic valve replacement. This surgery was unexpected and gave my family and I no proper time to plan.

For those who don't know me, I am blessed to have a beautiful family. I'm the sole breadwinner for my nuclear family. I'm a quality analyst by day and a writer, director and acting coach by night. Since my surgery, I have been on an unpaid medical leave from my day job. I've also not been operating my acting studio as I continue to recover.

I am going to be back at my job on August 5th. However, it will be mid-August before I am able to receive a full check. I'm asking if you'd consider helping my family during this time. The goal set reflects the amount of the pay I'd usually collect over the next two pay periods. If you are unable to, I completely understand. Please know that a prayer or a kind thought is appreciated just as much. I don't request this lightly. Please know that I am a responsible, hardworking individual whose found himself in an unexpected situation.
