Help me offset medical costs for my combination Arthroscopy & Periacetabular Osteotomy hip surgery! My name is Cally Lohnes, I'm a 25-year-old local elementary school substitute and an after-school program teacher. I have had hip dysplasia my whole life but was only recently diagnosed as I've been losing mobility in my hips due to degenerative changes in my cartilage and bone structure that needs surgery to hopefully correct. I was luckily able to be bumped up on the waiting list due to my recent MRI results, debilitating pain, and how quickly the area has changed. This surgery has a 70/30% success rate with people who have my genetic condition, Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, which causes an additional onslaught of issues. The surgery is planned for November 21st, which I was not at all prepared for as the estimation for me to get this surgery was June of 2026.

I need your help to offset medical and necessary expenses since I will not be able to work for at least a month, be using mobility aids for 4-6 months, until I will be (hopefully) back to mostly normal function and work capability. Anything helps & I am so grateful for the people who helped me learn that asking for help is not a weakness, it is a strength. ♥️
