Cally Carlson Nundahl

Hi, this is Kathy Gravelle and Tracy Selck, recently our friend Cally Carlson Nundahl was diagnosed with cervical cancer. On November 5th, she had her first surgery removing cancerous tumors. She has since found out the cancer has spread. She will be meeting with the oncologist at the Mayo next week to decide on her next step. If chemo treatments start she will be having chemo and radiation everyday for five weeks at the Mayo. Cervical cancer is only treated in a few of the area cancer centers, Mayo would be her closest option for treatment. She has a mass on her thyroid, they will be doing further testing on. She was also diagnosed with emphysema in her upper lungs. She has never smoked.
