Due to some health concerns Calli was having, she had colonoscopy where they discovered a large mass in her colon. On March 6th she got the dreaded call that the mass was in fact cancer.

On April 1st she had surgery to remove the cancer mass. They were able to successfully remove it and attach her colon back together. During the surgery they removed 33 lymph nodes. Biopsy came back with one of those lymph nodes containing cancer as well, which put her at Stage 3 Colon Cancer. This was the toughest pill for her to swallow as she knew that meant further treatment. Calli has worked very hard the past 10+ years to treat her body good; homeopathic, non-toxic, natural, clean ingredients. So the thought of chemo, along with feeling like her body failed her has been very emotional for her. She met with her Oncologist, came up with a treatment plan and had blood work done. Her Dr seems very optimistic and positive in that she can beat this!

This has been a very mental, emotional, and physical rollercoaster for Calli. When she has her infusion, she is out for a bit and feels miserable. As days go on, she feels better, then best, and then it's time to start over again. She has completed 3 of 4 treatments - with her last one mid-July.

To know Calli, is to love her and know the light she brings to every room. Her positivity is to be admired. Graham & Calli are the first people to offer a hand and to be there for everyone, so now it's our turn!

**The last thing Calli wanted was to ask for financial help but based on numerous requests we finally talked her into it ;)

Normal bills don't stop with cancer, and she will have to be out of work for six months. She will be finishing up her last rounds right before CalliPalooza - hosted at Riptide - We hope she is feeling well enough to join!
