I’m leaving the country and I could use your help.

Hi, my name is Callie Thomas Vaz. I’m a transgender woman, and due to the increasingly hostile climate in the U.S. my fiancée and I have decided to build a life together in a country with stronger legal protections for people like me.

Until recently, I was working full-time, picking up side gigs, and earning small commissions through TikTok Shop, all to save for this move. But after needing to take time off for my mental health, those efforts are now just barely covering the basics.

I’m fundraising to cover the costs of making this move a reality. Things like travel documents, plane tickets, initial housing, and a few months of basic expenses while we get settled.
