To you, Callie and Valerie may just be another two people among the sea of folks displaced and left struggling under the current administration.

To me and many others, though, they are a stable pillar of our community. They are our siblings, our coworkers, our loved ones, our friends. And like many, they are struggling to make ends meet.

With the current state of the job market, Valerie has been left jobless and hunting through a treacherous sea of scam listings, high turnover rates, and heavy competition.

Callie has work, but between health scares and a strict barrier to entry for Social Security Benefits, she is struggling to keep their small family above water.

Meet Rootbeer, the wobbly stray that stole their heart.

Rootbeer was found by Callie around a year ago, wandering around her neighborhood with a wobble in his step. Not long after taking him in, he was diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia- otherwise known as Wobbly Cat Syndrome. Quickly wobbling his way into Callie's heart, he now acts as her registered ESA.

Meet Wasabi, Rootbeer's less-wobbly sister.

Wasabi was found alongside Rootbeer, and these two littermates were inseparable. So inseparable that Callie and Valerie knew they deserved a home together. Today, the two siblings bring love and excitement to every day in their home, and are an integral part of Callie & Valerie's lives.
