Support Callaway's Recovery-2 Years After Daycare Trauma
Donation protected

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
Our world was turned upside down when our precious son, Callaway, suffered a traumatic injury at daycare. At just seven months old, he was dropped by his daycare provider on hard tile floor, resulting in a brain injury, fractured jaw, a vertebral wedge fracture, hearing loss, and developmental delays that have impacted his growth and progress. Since the accident, Callaway has endured so much. Since the accident, Callaway has endured so much. He underwent back surgery and spent eight months at Madonna Hospital receiving outpatient therapy to help him regain strength and function.
It has now been almost two years since the accident, and our journey has been anything but easy. Despite his incredible strength and resilience, Callaway continues to require medical care and specialized support to help him overcome the challenges caused by his injuries.

To make matters even more difficult, we discovered that the daycare did not have active liability insurance at the time of the accident. This has left us solely responsible for covering all of his medical expenses, including hospital bills, specialist visits, therapy sessions, and ongoing care to support his recovery.
Callaway is a twin, and while we are so grateful that his sibling is healthy, this journey has been incredibly challenging for our entire family. Balancing his care, medical treatments, and therapies while ensuring that both of our children continue to thrive has been overwhelming emotionally and financially.

No parent should have to experience the heartbreak of seeing their child in pain, and the financial burden has only added to the stress of this devastating situation. We are doing everything we can to give Callaway the best possible care, but we need help.

We are humbly asking for your support—whether through a donation, a share, or simply keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward his medical bills and the resources he needs to heal and thrive.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this challenging time.
With love and gratitude,
Jared and Kaela Johnson
