Hi, I’m Christa – a licensed aesthetician, leukemia survivor, and the founder of Calisto Glow Cares, a nonprofit born from my own healing journey. When I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and underwent a stem cell transplant, doctors warned me of severe skin reactions – blisters, peeling, even skin turning black. Their only remedy? Vaseline.

But I knew better. With gentle, nourishing skincare I’d crafted and used for years, I made it through treatment with barely any of the harsh skin side effects they warned about. That’s when I realized: skincare isn’t just about beauty – it’s about dignity, comfort, and hope.

Now, I’m building Calisto Glow Cares to offer skincare treatments and safe, soothing products to people going through cancer and other serious illnesses – especially those who can’t afford it. But first, I need your help.
