Hi, my name is Beatriz Ruiz and I have started this GoFundMe for my dog, Cali. I rescued Cali when she was only 4 months old. Cali has been my best friend for the last 6 years since she was placed in my life. She took me out of so many dark places I’ve been in throughout my life. She has been my protector, my safe place, and the most loyal to me.

Recently, I took her for a dental cleaning and when I went to pick her up, they told me that she has a tumor in her mouth that has invaded her jaw. In order for me to save her, I need to do a surgery that involves removing partial or all of her bottom jaw. If this procedure isn’t done, the tumor will only progress, and eventually, I will have to make the decision to put her down.

Cali is such a sweet, loving dog. You look at her and you see a big pit bull but the truth is she’s such a big baby who loves to cuddle and loves belly rubs. She loves runs, and just being outside sunbathing. She’s only 6 years old, she deserves a chance at life. She deserves for me to fight for her and for me to keep her alive the same way she kept me alive throughout the darkest times of my life.

So, I’m only asking for any help that you can give. Even if it’s just a share of my story. Even if it’s just a dollar, every dollar counts. These funds will go towards the cost of doctor visits, MRIs, and the surgery.
