I'm Ivy, a proud supporter of Caleb's family in Ghana, West Africa. I'm honored to fundraise for this courageous warrior, who has inspired me with his resilience and determination.

Living with sickle cell disease (HbSS), Caleb has bravely endured 5 devastating strokes, resulting in extensive damage to the blood vessels in his brain. This has triggered a cascade of complications, including:

- Seizure disorders

- Chronic blood transfusions and iron overload

- Recurring infections, including leg ulcers, pneumonia and acute chest syndrome

- Multiple complex surgeries

- Near-death experiences

- Chronic pain

- Over 100 hospitalizations

After 5 life-threatening strokes, Caleb developed severe spasticity in all limbs, resulting in muscle stiffness,spasms,and significant impairment to his mobility. Following a consultation with a neurologist,Caleb has been prescribed Dysport injections to alleviate symptoms,offering numerous benefits such as reduced muscle stiffness and spasms,improved mobility and range of motion,enhance comfort and overall quality of life, and a potential increase in independence.

Caleb recently faced a new challenge with his scoliosis diagnosis (curve spine) on August 30 ,2024,which requires prompt medical intervention or possible surgery, further complicating his existing conditions.
