Caitlin is an Amazon worker who did what she was supposed to do and reported an injury at work. Her back was being aggravated by the work and her manager encouraged her to make a report about it. She did so thinking that she would be accommodated, but instead Amazon put her on disability leave which is unpaid until the beginning of October (and that's assuming she can get her doctor to fill out the paperwork in a timely manner).

She hasn't been able to pay September's rent yet and owes $990. October's rent, which will be $1,015 is coming up quickly. Today she was given a court date to start eviction proceedings. She's hoping she can pay back September's rent before October 8th and pay October's rent before the 20th so that she can stay in her home while she gets paid leave and/or a different job.
