Hi, My name is Sinead and I am fundraising to help my niece and goddaughter Caitlin Barron.

Caitlins life changed in an instant on Easter Saturday when she received the devastating news that she had a brain tumour. She was rushed to CUH and underwent massive brain surgery. While on the road to recovery following the surgery, Caitlin suffered not 1 but 2 bleeds on the brain, requiring 2 more operations. This put her recovery back alot.

She is currently still in Cork and is just beginning extensive rehabilitation, which she will need to continue in Dun Laoghaire.

Her mother Annette and family have been by her side constantly since the beginning of this journey and it will be a long road ahead as Caitlin still needs to deal with Radiotherapy to reduce the remainder of the tumour which couldn't be removed through surgery. But she has a long way to go to be any where near strong enough for that.

I would just like to raise something to help both Annette and Caitlin out at this difficult time and take some of the worry away regarding the expenses currently being put on them. Thank you for taking the time to read Caitlins story Xx
