Support Cait in her fight against Cancer
Donation protected
Cait is a loving wife and devoted mother of two young children, living in rural Queensland. Just last year, she and her husband had the wedding of their dreams in beautiful Palm Cove, surrounded by loved ones. Little did they know, cancer was already quietly present in her body, even during one of the happiest moments of their lives.
In late September, Cait underwent a hysterectomy to address ongoing health issues that had left her exhausted and drained for far too long. For years, she had struggled in silence, seeking answers from multiple doctors, enduring countless scans, tests, and medications, all while still trying to be the best wife, mother, and friend she could be.
Despite her strength, it took the persistence of a fourth doctor to truly listen and take her concerns seriously. After her surgery, routine lab tests revealed a diagnosis no one expected—Cait had cervical squamous cell carcinoma. Even though she had been up-to-date on her cervical screenings, the cancer had already advanced beyond what routine tests had caught.
The news turned their world upside down, launching Cait into a whirlwind of tears, tests, and trips to specialists in Mackay and Brisbane. After weeks of waiting and praying for good news, they’ve found hope. No additional cancerous cells have been detected, but to ensure it stays that way, Cait needs another urgent surgery.
Cait has always been the first to lend a hand, to smile even when times were tough, and to put everyone else’s needs before her own. Now, it’s time for us to lift her up. Your support will help Cait get through this crucial surgery and focus on healing so that she can return to what she loves most—being a mum, a wife, and living her life to the fullest.
Please, if you can, donate to help cover the cost of Cait’s surgery. And if you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing her story will mean the world to us. Every bit of support gets her one step closer to beating this and making new memories with her family.
Thank you for being part of Cait’s journey to recovery. Together, we can help her kick cancer to the curb and get back to the life she deserves.
